| I think that this spring break is the best I have had my entire life. It was really fun, and I don't think I got to bed before 3:30am except for last night. So this is what I did during spring break........
Monday, I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed around 10am. Got up, watched an episode of CSI, and started packing for my trip to Florence, Alabama. So, I pretty much took it easy and packed during the morning and left the house around 3pm in the afternoon. Went to take my laptop to the doctor to get fixed, and went to take some movies back to "Top Shelf Records" (aka the greatest renting place ever). Then I started my adventure, and made my way to Alabama. Had a great drive, and really no trouble finding my cousins apartment. So I get to the apartment, and he gives me a quick tour. When he got done, we went to the grocery store, and picked up some steaks to throw on the grill. Then we went to Gamestop and picked up a game for my cousins new XBOX 360. We get done there, and we head back to the apartment, and start the steaks. They get done about an hour later, and we all sit down to eat. We all had a good ol' merry time. Then we all played XBOX 360 until 3:30am, and finally went to bed without any trouble.
Tuesday, woke up around 10:30am, got up, took a shower, and about that time they all came back from class. We then proceed to "Brinley Brothers" to dine for lunch. I had pasta, and we had a waitress that looked exactly like lead singer Amy Lee from Evanescence. Not lying, just like her!!! Then I proceed to a car lot, and drove a Civic Hybrid. Really do think that's my next vehicle. So we were at the car lot for about 2 1/2 hours and finally left to go to the mall in Florence to shop around. Then we went back to the apartment and rested up for a bit. That night we went to "Texas Roadhouse", for some good food. Really want to go back to that restraunt. Then we went back to the apartment, and played XBOX 360 until 3:30am in the morning.
Wednesday, kinda got up at 9am. I know thats kinda weird, but could not sleep for some reason. Got up, packed all my stuff, took a shower, and waited for my cousins to get back from class. They got back, and we grilled out hamburgers at the apartment. We get done, and I hang around until they have to go to work, then I make my way back home. Get back home, and watch American Idol and CSI. I watched CSI until 3:30am in the morning once again.
Thursday, got up around 11. That night Me, Jared, Cody, Josh Emily, Joe, and Brooke meet at Ruby Tuesday to eat dinner, and then we head back to Josh and Emily's apartment to have many laughs. After many embarrassing stories about our young lives (JOE), we left there around midnight. Then Jared, Brooke, Cody, and I walked in downtown Corinth until 1 in the morning. Downtown Corinth is great at night, actually it's just beautiful. Well, then I headed home, and the whole way home I was worrying about some things I have been going through, and of course my Respiratory Boards that are coming up. I am a worry wart, I cannot help it, but I am. So I get home, and I just look up. I love to look at stars all of the time. The moon and stars are just so beautiful to me. The thing is that I can gaze upon them for hours and hours. The most shooting stars I have seen is 5 in one night, and that was back in December. Getting back to my story, is that I looked up and I saw 2 shooting stars at the same time. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Then I felt a serene feeling. I knew God was telling or showing me that everything was going to be okay. Then I just look up and stared for the longest. Then I went back inside, and watched tv until I fell asleep.
Friday, nothing much happend. Met up with Joe, Nathan, my sister and her friends to watch the 10pm showing of "V for Vendetta". Great movie by the way. Came back home, and watched tv until I fell asleep.
Saturday, studied, rented a couple of movies from "Top Shelf" (Reviews coming later), and went to play Risk at Dans.
Sunday, Church and studying!!!
So this Spring Break comes to an end. Being in Florence wanted me to be out on my own. I really enjoyed it, and it foreshadowed the things to come in my life. Pretty amazing spring break. I am refreshed and rejuvinated, and ready to get the final six weeks of my college career over.
BRING IT ON................. |
